Welcome to Community X. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. About Community X
Community X ("we," "us," "our") is a co-working and community platform operated in the Arab Republic of Egypt. The platform connects entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives through shared workspace bookings, member networking, and community features.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration
2.1 Invite-Only Access
Community X operates on an invite-only basis. Access to the platform requires a valid invitation. We reserve the right to approve or deny membership at our sole discretion.
2.2 Account Requirements
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration, including your full name, email address, and Egyptian mobile phone number.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.
2.3 Profile Information
You may provide optional profile information including your job title, company, bio, location, industry tags, and skill tags. You are responsible for ensuring this information is accurate and does not violate the rights of any third party.
3. Services
3.1 Workspace Bookings
- You may book available co-working spaces through the platform subject to operating hours and availability.
- Bookings are confirmed upon successful payment or bundle hour deduction.
- Pending bookings that are not paid within 15 minutes will be automatically cancelled.
- A daily booking limit may apply as set by platform administrators.
3.2 Hour Bundles
- You may purchase pre-paid hour bundles at listed prices.
- Bundles have an expiry period from the date of purchase. Unused hours expire and are non-refundable after the validity period.
- Bundle hours are deducted upon booking confirmation.
3.3 Member Network
- The platform provides a member directory and networking features including connection requests and AI-powered member suggestions.
- By joining Community X, you consent to your profile being visible to other members within the network.
3.4 AI Concierge
- Community X provides an AI-powered chat assistant for general inquiries about spaces, bookings, and platform features.
- AI responses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice.
4. Payments and Refunds
4.1 Payment Processing
- All payments are processed through Paymob, a licensed payment gateway operating in Egypt.
- We accept card and wallet payment methods as available through Paymob.
- All prices are displayed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Refunds
- Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis by our administrative team.
- Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method.
- Expired bundle hours are not eligible for refunds.
4.3 Payment Disputes

- We maintain payment audit logs for transparency and dispute resolution.
5. Cancellations and No-Shows
5.1 Booking Cancellations
- You may cancel a booking before the scheduled time. Cancellation policies, including any applicable fees, are determined by platform settings.
5.2 No-Show Policy
- Failure to attend a confirmed booking without prior cancellation constitutes a no-show.
- Repeated no-shows (exceeding the threshold set by administrators) may result in temporary or permanent restrictions on your booking privileges.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information in your profile or communications.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other members.
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Egyptian law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform, other user accounts, or our systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or services.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the platform without our written consent.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Use the AI concierge to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Platform Content
All content, design, logos, and software comprising the Community X platform are owned by or licensed to us and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
7.2 User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the platform (profile information, messages, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and store such content for the purpose of operating the platform.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
8.1 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you:
- Violate these Terms.
- Exceed the no-show threshold.
- Engage in behavior that is harmful to the community or platform.
8.2 By You
You may request account deletion by contacting us at support@joincommunityx.com. Upon deletion, your profile will be removed from the member network. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law:
- Community X is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content, including member suggestions and chat responses.
- We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account caused by your failure to maintain account security.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Community X, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
12.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Cairo, Egypt.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
